1. Overview

This Policy explains how LIKENET collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data through likenet.am, LIKENET applications, customer portals, telephone and electronic communications, and during service delivery.

Processing is carried out in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia on personal-data protection, electronic communications, consumer protection and other applicable rules.

2. Controller and contact details

The data controller is LIKENET LLC, providing services under the LIKENET brand.

3. Data we may process

We may process a customer’s name and identification details, telephone number, email, installation address, selected services and plans, request and installation details, contractual and billing information, support requests, communication history, IP address, device and browser information, and website usage data.

The main likenet.am website does not store Internet or Internet + TV billing usernames and passwords. Those credentials are submitted directly to the relevant billing platform by POST. LIKENET TV sign-in and registration also take place on a separate billing platform.

4. Purposes

We use data to check technical availability, respond to enquiries, enter into and perform contracts, install and support services, administer payments and accounts, identify customers, provide support, maintain security, prevent misuse and comply with legal obligations.

Marketing communications are sent only where there is an appropriate legal basis or consent. You may opt out at any time.

5. Legal bases

Processing may rely on consent, steps requested before entering a contract, performance of a contract, a legal obligation or LIKENET’s legitimate interests where these do not override your rights and freedoms. We process only data that is proportionate and necessary.

6. Recipients

Data may be accessed by authorised staff, billing and payment providers, hosting, cloud and email providers, installation and support partners, and competent public authorities where required by law. LIKENET does not sell personal data.

International transfers take place only on a lawful basis and with appropriate safeguards.

7. External services

The website may link to pay-online.likenet.am, cabinet.likenet.am, Google Play, YouTube and other services governed by their own policies. YouTube content is embedded using privacy-enhanced mode, but Google/YouTube may still receive technical information such as an IP address and browser details when the video loads.

8. Cookies

The website may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies for language selection, sign-in security, forms and core functions. Consent will be requested for analytics or advertising cookies when required by law. Browser settings can restrict or delete cookies, although some features may then be unavailable.

9. Retention

Data is retained only for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and for contractual, accounting, tax, complaint-handling and other legal obligations. It is then securely deleted, anonymised or blocked.

10. Security

LIKENET uses organisational and technical safeguards that may include access controls, authentication, encryption, backups, logging and system updates. Security incidents are handled in accordance with applicable law.

11. Your rights

You may request information and access, correction or updating, and—where provided by law—restriction, deletion or termination of processing; withdraw consent; object to unlawful processing; and lodge a complaint with the competent authority or a court.

LIKENET may reasonably verify your identity before responding to a request.

12. Children’s data

Contractual services are intended for persons with legal capacity. Children’s data is processed only on a lawful basis and, where required, with the consent of a parent or legal representative.
